Continuous Education

Brussels Matters discussions provide unique insights into a wide range of topics of interest to those working within the fields of EU, company and commercial law, primarily by inviting senior-level EU and other regulatory officials who are experts in their subject areas.

By participating in our discussions, you will gain a deeper knowledge of the subject as well as up-to-date information on that subject and acquire greater confidence in applying your new knowledge to your field of practice.

In those European jurisdictions where lawyers are subject to continuous professional education requirements, Brussels Matters discussions can qualify for certification purposes. For example, in England & Wales our discussions have been accredited for 1.5 Continuous Practice Development hours credit by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).

After each discussion, we are able to supply a certificate of attendance electronically to those participants who ask for such a proof of participation.

However and in the light of the divergent continuous professional education requirements imposed by individual Bar associations across the EU, currently it is not possible to obtain certification approval in advance of our discussions that will satisfy all these jurisdictions' requirements.
